Grapes Touriga Nacional Winemaking The grapes, from the best plots of Touriga Nacional at Quinta do Crasto, were transported in boxes of 22 kg capacity and subjected to rigorous sorting at the entrance of the wine House. After a complete destemming and a slight crushing, the must was transferred to vats of fermentation in stainless steel with controlled temperature. At the end of the alcoholic fermentation, a soft pressing was carried out. Aging Quinta do Crasto Touriga Nacional 2016 aged in French oak barrels where it remained 18 months. Tasting Note Quinta do Crasto Touriga Nacional is a wine with a deep violet color, showing on the nose elegant violet notes, in perfect harmony with soft notes of fresh spice and wild Douro fruits. Starts the mouth tasting in a harmonious way, evolving to a wine with excellent volume and fine texture tannins very well matched with violet aromas. A wine that mirrors the Touriga Nacional's identity and ends with excellent freshness and persistence.
