V.t qta.da tor-algibre Grand.Reserva 2017 Vinhos do Algarve

Quinta da Tôr – Grande Reserva Algibre Tinto 2017 was the big winner of the XV Algarve Wine Competition, which awarded a total of 32 wines: 20 silver medals, 11 gold medals and one big gold medal for the big winner.

The competition took place on May 26th, at the Convento de S. José, in Lagoa, with the technical direction of the Algarve Wine Commission and support from the Municipality of Lagoa.

More than 100 Vinhos do Algarve wines were tasted, including whites, rosés and reds from 26 producers.

“The Algarve Wine Competition aims to award distinctions to bottled wines from the Algarve. The aim is to stimulate the production of quality wines, as well as promote the best wines produced in the region”, highlights the Algarve Wine Commission, in a statement.
