Aroma
Very concentrated, with balsamic notes of oak, fig, blackberry and tobacco.
Flavor
Very full-bodied, fleshy with ripe and round tannins. The finish is elegant, mineral, very persistent and complex.
Winemaking
Part of the grapes are trodden by foot in a mill. The rest are vinified in stainless steel vats of five tons, with controlled temperature and robotic reassembly.
Grapes
Old Vines aged between 60 and 100 years: more than 35 varieties with predominance of Tinta Roriz, Tinta Amarela, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca.
phase
After malolactic fermentation, all wines are transferred to 225 liter French oak barrels where they remain for 18 months.
