V. Tapada do Coronel V. da Talha branco Vinhos do Alentejo
The amphora, a clay container of ancient origin, is the fundamental element of a tradition that the Alentejo has managed to maintain until today - the carved wine. The pleasure of combining modern viticultural and oenological knowledge with the most extraordinary legacies of our country's culture, led us to explore the Alentejo in search of the perfect “terroir” for the creation of the latest star in the Lusovini portfolio, Tapada do Coronel - Talha wine.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION Climate: Mediterranean - Continental Soil: Granite, Shale and Clay - slime, typical of Serra de S. Mamede Grapes: Arinto, Roupeiro, Antão Vaz and other old tapada do Coronel vines. Production: 1,100 bottles Winemaking: Typical carving without any oenological intervention Stage: Opening of the carvings in late December, storage in stainless steel and subsequent bottling. Bottling: 2018.
TASTING NOTES Color: Straw yellow Aroma: Dried fruits, spices and some earthy notes. Palate: Solid white, complex and with excellent acidity. Final taste: Balanced, elegant and long.
SERVICE SUGGESTIONS AND LONGEVITY Consumption Temperature: Serve between 10 and 12ºC Gastronomy: Traditional Alentejo dishes such as açordas. Expected longevity: It can be consumed immediately or in the coming years, as long as it is kept lying in a cool and shady place.
