TERROIR In the heart of the Douro Demarcated Region, Quinta da
Levandeira do Roncão, is located on the right bank of the Douro River, in the parish of
Small village in Alijó, between 500 and 600 m altitude. It presents
a very rugged relief on a slope with different slopes that vary
between 5% and 45%, an acidic soil of schist origin, with a high degree of
stonyness, which makes it shallow soil and very poor in
organic matter, similar to typical Douro soil. With a southern exposure,
the vineyards receive sun throughout the day, reflected in the quality of their
maturations. The region benefits from a microclimate, where an extensive chain
mountainous region protects the region from the influence of the Atlantic Ocean, offering a
continental climate characterized by hot, dry summers and cold, dry winters
rainy. The average annual temperature is 16°C and the average annual rainfall is
900mm.

TASTING NOTES Very old white Port wine, aged in
cask (average batch age 50 years), very elegant aroma and enormous
complexity with notes of vinegar, honey, dried fruits and vanilla. In the mouth it is
sweet, creamy, fresh, citrus with notes of wood and a persistent and long finish.
