V.T Zambujeiro 2016 Vinhos do Alentejo
Batch: 47% Alicante Bouschet, 40% Petit Verdot, 13% Touriga Nacional, 16% Alc. Winemaking: Grape harvested by hand from reduced production vines and hand picked at the selection table. Fermentation in small stainless steel vats and tanks. This wine aged for 24 months in French oak barrels (100% new). It has not been filtered Test results: It is the Quinta's top wine, the essence of the best vineyards and the competence of the team. A long-lasting wine, full-bodied, with a lot of fruit extract and a creamy palate. Slow opening of the glass with aromas of wild flowers and berries, smoke and black tea. Serve with: Serve between 14 – 17°C, decant, drink alone, with any meat dish or matured cheeses. Consume preferably up to 2035. Store below 15°C.
