The 2019 agricultural year recorded temperatures corresponding to the average of the last 20 years, while the recorded rainfall values ​​were below the average values ​​for the same period. In the spring and until the beginning of the summer, temperatures were higher than in the year 2018, which led to a considerable advance in the phenology of the vine, translating into the anticipation of the harvest in about 2 weeks, compared to 2018. Summer registered lower temperatures in the painter-maturation period, promoting a constant and homogeneous evolution of maturation, ideal conditions for an excellent quality raw material.

Granitic / schistous nature, clay-loam structure.

Alicante Bouschet, Touriga Nacional, Aragonez, Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Franca

VINIFICATION / INTERNSHIP
Beginning of the co-fermentation of grapes in lagares, with stepping at controlled temperatures (22-25ºC), ending in concrete vats.

Maturation, after malolactic fermentation, took place in the same concrete vats for 6 months. The micro-oxygenation conditions, unique to this type of deposit, seek to respect the character of the wine.

COLOR
Clear appearance, ruby ​​color.

AROMA
Highlight for the ripe red fruit, some compote of wild blackberries and a slight herbaceous and spicy nuance.

TASTE


Fresh and balanced, with a silky texture where the purity of red fruit predominates, with an elegant and persistent finish.
