In 2013, Sónia Martins identified in Serra de São Mamede, in Portalegre, the perfect characteristics to start the production of Alentejo wines with an altitude and differentiation character. In the Serra de São Mamede, through the fusion soils between shale, clay and granite, it managed to produce wines of an enviable minerality, also standing out for the freshness of the altitude. At the Tapada do Coronel estate in old vineyards the Sericaia Tapada do Coronel edition took shape.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION Climate: Mediterranean - Continental Soil: Granite, Shale and Clay - slime. Grape varieties: Aragonês, Moreto, Trincadeira and others in old vineyards of Tapada do Coronel Production: 1,500 bottles Vinification: Light pre-fermentation maceration, followed by fermentation at controlled temperatures, Stage: 10 months in French oak barrels. 9 months in the basement before going to the market. Bottling: 2017

TASTING NOTES Color: Bright red Aroma: Aroma of very ripe red fruits, wrapped in notes of spices and some toasted notes. Palate: Elegant, structured body. Quite gastronomic.
