In 1893, the writer Fialho de Almeida, born in Alentejo, writes “O Pais das Uvas”, where he describes in a unique way the experiences of wine in his Alentejo. In his honor, we created Terras de Fialho, where we related in wine style, the feelings transmitted by him about the days of azafama in the Alentejo vintages
TECHNICAL INFORMATION Climate: Temperate - Mediterranean Soil: Granite - Sandy, slightly acidic and poor in nutrients Grapes: Alicante Bouschet, Touriga-Nacional, Aragonês, Trincadeira and Castelão. Production: 100,000 bottles Vinification: Fermentation with light maceration and controlled temperature between 24º and 26º C. Stage: 3 months of aging in the cellar before being released to the consumer.
TASTING NOTES Color: Intense Ruby Aroma: Intense red fruit, plum surrounding and some hint of cocoa. Palate: Good mouth structure, excellent volume, with a very persistent finish. Final taste: Intense, long and persistent
SERVICE SUGGESTIONS AND LONGEVITY Consumption temperature: Serve at 16º. Gastronomy: White meat dishes, red meats and cheeses. Expected longevity: It can be consumed immediately or in the next 3 years, as long as it is stored lying in a cool and shady place.
