Produced only when the requirements of exceptional quality are met, the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation presents the 2014 Pêra-Manca red, the latest harvest of its most emblematic wine, in a limited edition of 20,000 bottles. In keeping with the innovation strategy of Adega Cartuxa, each bottle of Pêra-Manca red 2014 will continue to present a security system that allows the consumer to guarantee its authenticity. The system consists of a unique code, associated with the use of a holographic image and a control QRCode, from the National Press Casa da Moeda, which allows this entity to trace the seal, incorporated in the bottle capsule, which can be validated on the website brand internet, thus guaranteeing the purchase of an original bottle. Pêra-Manca Tinto 2014 is made from the usual Trincadeira and Aragonez grape varieties, harvested from selected plots in the vineyards over 35 years old at the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation. With an intense and complex aroma of wild flowers and raspberry, balsamic notes, pine and resin, white chocolate and linden. In the mouth it impresses from the first impact due to its freshness. Elegant and very concentrated, it presents robust tannins that will ensure a great capacity for evolution.
