Winemaking
This wine was produced exclusively from the Touriga Nacional variety. The grapes were rigorously selected for their excellent maturity. They were fermented without stems, at controlled temperatures, with regular delestage and subsequent period of maceration of the films, which enhanced the fruity characteristics of this variety and provided a tannin structure and balance. The wine was aged for 8 months in French oak barrels until bottling with filtration and without bonding in July 2016.
Test results
Complex wine with aromas of wild fruits and spices. Firm tannins balanced by a refreshing acidity.
